ഡെറാഢൂണ്‍: ഉത്തരഖാണ്ഡിലെ രുദ്രപ്രയാഗില്‍ യാത്രക്കാരുമായി പോയ ബസ് അളകനന്ദ നദിയിലേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞ് ഒരാള്‍ മരിച്ചു. 10 പേരെ കാണാതായി. പൊലീസും ദുരന്തനിവാരണ സേനയും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഏഴുപേരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. കാണാതായവര്‍ക്കുള്ള തിരച്ചില്‍ തുടരുകയാണ്.
ഘോള്‍താറിനടുത്ത് ഋഷികേശ് - ബദരീനാഥ് ദേശീയപാതയിലാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. ബസില്‍ പതിനെട്ട് പേരാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. അളകനന്ദ നദിക്ക് മുകളിലൂടെ പോകുകയായിരുന്ന ബസ് നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് നദിയിലേക്ക് മറിയുകയായിരുന്നെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം.
രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയവരെ പരിക്കുകളോടെ സമീപത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഉന്നത പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പടെ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. സാധ്യമായ രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ തുടരുന്നതായി ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടം അറിയിച്ചു.
A passenger bus carrying 18 individuals veered off course and tragically plunged into the Alaknanda River near Gholtir, situated along the Badrinath Highway in Uttarakhand on Thursday. According to Police Headquarters spokesperson IG Nilesh Anand Bharane, the accident occurred in the Gholthir area of Rudraprayag district. Currently, rescue operations are actively in progress to assist those involved.
