തൃശൂര്‍: തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ലയില്‍ നാളെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് ജില്ലാ കലക്ടര്‍. ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട കനത്ത മഴ തുടരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ശനിയാഴ്ച അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്.
പീച്ചി ഡാം ഷട്ടര്‍ നാളെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുമെന്ന് ജില്ലാ കലക്ടര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. നീരൊഴുക്ക് വര്‍ധിച്ചതിനാല്‍ ജലനിരപ്പ് നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിനായി നാളെ (ജൂണ്‍ 28) രാവിലെ 11 മുതല്‍ ഡാമിന്റെ നാല് ഷട്ടറുകളും നാല് ഇഞ്ച് (പത്ത് സെ.മി) വീതം തുറന്ന് മണലിപ്പുഴയിലേക്ക് വെള്ളം ഒഴുക്കും.
