Abdul Nazer M A, is a passionate journalist with nearly 5 years of experience spanning print, broadcast, online media, and podcast. He specialized in crime reporting and covering Kerala politics, particularly CPI(M) affairs. He enters into the journalistic career, after securing a post graduation diploma in television journalism from Kerala Media Academy, following his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in English Language and Literature from the University of Calicut. Began his career in 2019 with Chandrika daily, the mouthpiece newspaper of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). Over the years, he has taken on diverse roles, including news presenter, web journalist, sub editor, visual producer, and content editor — with prominent media houses such as Narada News Malayalam, Reporter News channel, and ETV Bharat. During his academic years, he actively engaged in leadership roles, serving as the College Union Chairman (2016) and College Magazine Committee member (2018). In 2019, he presented a paper titled ‘Ethnicity and Identity in Khaled Hosseini’s A Thousand Splendid Suns‘ at a national conference. He also holds a Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA), appeared as a news presenter, and contributed as a scriptwriter for Doordarshan Malayalam’s ‘Madhyama Jalakam.’ His literary piece ‘Vaazhthapedatha Janmangal’ earned a certificate of appreciation from the Prime Minister’s YUVA (Young, Upcoming, and Versatile Authors) scheme, initiated by the National Book Trust of India. In addition to journalistic pursuits, he nurtures a deep passion for content writing, exploring emerging media trends, and indulging in his hobbies — traveling, cooking, football, and photography.
