പി രാംദാസ്
P Ramdas, a Kochi-based journalist with 15+ years of experience in legal reporting, covering the Kerala Judiciary. A Journalism postgraduate (Masters in Journalism and Communication) from MG University, Kottayam, began his career in 2006 with Kerala Kaumudi, initially in sports reporting, before excelling in investigative and legal journalism.
In 2013, he won the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club’s V Krishnamoorthy award for Best English News Report for "A Couple’s Dream Remains Frozen," a story about a couple’s legal battle for their deceased son’s semen, which was preserved in a private hospital in Kochi. The story was later adapted into a film, "Venalodugathe," by Director Sanjeev Sivan, featuring National Award-winning actors Seema Biswas and Salim Kumar in lead roles.
Has completed multiple training programs, including the Defence Correspondent Course (DCC) by the Union Ministry of Defence, successfully completed an Online training course by Reuters on 'Introduction to Digital Journalism'
